The rules, without small print
- Every certified document issued counts: sales, refunds, exchanges and test documents. Reprints and emails do not.
- Included documents reset every 30 days and do not roll over. Pack documents roll over for 12 months.
- A pack is bought automatically when the pool runs dry and appears on your Shopify invoice.
- If you reach the spending cap you approved on Shopify, issuing continues — packs wait until you raise it.
- Changing plan or the number of locations creates an updated subscription you approve on Shopify. Upgrades apply immediately and prorated; downgrades at the next period.
- If a payment fails everything keeps working for 14 days. We never block a document for a sale already paid at the till.
Questions
Do I need a SAGE?
Yes. zrsPOS connects to the SAGE you already run — Sage 50c is the first one supported. You need three things: SAGE’s SmartAPI reachable over the internet (a public address, not just the store network), an API key from your SAGE partner, and the same barcodes on your Shopify products and your SAGE items, so every line of a sale finds its item.
Who issues the documents?
Your SAGE, under its certification, numbering and ATCUD. zrsPOS orchestrates and never issues on its own.
What if the store loses internet?
The sale still happens in Shopify POS. The document is issued as soon as the connection returns, and the receipt waits in the print queue. In a long outage, follow the backup-document procedure your SAGE partner or accountant gives you.
Can I use my own printers?
Yes. Epson units with Server Direct Print connect to zrsPOS once the Server URL and ID are set on the printer; any ESC/POS printer (USB, Bluetooth or network) works through the zrsPOS Print app on the POS device, or the PrintBox.
How do I cancel?
On Shopify, like any app. New sales stop being issued 24 hours later. While the app stays installed, the archive, reprints and downloads remain available; if you uninstall it, its configuration and working data are deleted 48 hours later. The certified documents remain in your SAGE, which is your legal archive.
