zrsPOS manual

zrsPOS turns every sale at your Shopify POS into a certified Portuguese fiscal document in your SAGE, and prints the receipt at the till. Returns become credit notes. Nothing is invoiced by zrsPOS itself: SAGE is the certified issuer; zrsPOS orchestrates.

This manual mirrors the app's Setup guide. Read it in order the first time; afterwards use the sidebar to jump to the part you need.

Before you start

A Shopify store with Shopify POS and at least one location.
SAGE 50c (or another SAGE with the SmartAPI) reachable from the internet, with an API key from your SAGE partner.
A receipt printer per till (Epson TM series recommended).
About 20 minutes. You can stop and come back at any step.

Only zrsPOS is required. The print app replaces a network printer; zrsTaxFree is an optional add-on.

The nine steps (and an optional tenth)

Welcome & plan — what zrsPOS does; choose and confirm your plan (the 14-day trial starts there).
SAGE connection — endpoint and key, tested live. Everything else reads your SAGE, so this comes first.
Company & documents — how your company appears on documents; logo and language. Your legal name, NIF and address come from step 2.
Stores & séries — série, warehouse and document types for each Shopify location, proposed from your SAGE.
SAGE items — service items and customer defaults, with names from your SAGE.
Payments — which SAGE tender each Shopify payment method becomes.
Printers — receipt printers and how they connect.
POS devices — which till prints where.
Test document & go live — a real test document, then the switch.

Until you press Go live in step 9, zrsPOS ignores your POS sales. You can configure and test freely.
