The apps at the counter

The main zrsPOS app lives inside your Shopify admin — there is nothing to install. These two run on the store’s own devices.

zrsPOS Print

Android · built-in, USB or network printer

Turns an Android POS device (SUNMI and others) into a zrsPOS printer. It detects the built-in printer and its paper width, prints the receipts and reports when paper runs out. Pairs with a code from the printer wizard.

1. Download and install the APK on the POS device.
2. In zrsPOS: Setup → Printers → Add printer → Print app.
3. Scan the QR or type the store and the 6-digit code.
4. Press Print test on the printer’s page.

zrsTaxFree

Tablet · Android and iPad, no app store

The counter app for Global Blue tax-free sales: captures the traveller, reads the passport, issues and prints the form. It is a web app — open a link and add it to the home screen.

1. In zrsPOS open Tax Free and generate a pairing code.
2. On the tablet scan the QR (or open the link) and add it to the home screen.
3. Open the app from its icon and enter the 6-digit code.
4. Choose the printer for forms and print a test one.
