The item tracks stock

What you see

In the admin, on SAGE items, as a row marked "Needs attention" with the title The item tracks stock, and on the Home page under "Needs attention". It can also appear against a failed document in Documents.

What happened

A zrsPOS helper item tracks stock in SAGE, and a sale can get blocked for lack of stock.

What to do

  1. Open SAGE items and find the item flagged as tracking stock.
  2. Pick another item that does not track stock, or create one (see below).
  3. Alternatively, in SAGE, turn off stock control on that item.
  4. Save.

Can zrsPOS do it for you?

Yes, by replacement. zrsPOS can create a new item that does not track stock after you confirm, and read it back to check. It does not edit your existing item.
