Plans & billing

Your zrsPOS plan is on the Plan page, under Settings. It shows your plan in one line, this period's documents, the plans, and your billing e-mail.

Plans

zrsPOS is billed by Shopify, on your Shopify invoice. The price is per store, every 30 days (ex-VAT, EUR). Only the stores that sell at a till are billed: a store zrsPOS doesn't invoice for costs nothing.

Choosing a plan. You can set everything up without a plan. Tap a plan on the Plan page: it shows what you will pay for your stores ("€79 × 3 stores = €237 every 30 days") and when it starts. Approve it in Shopify opens Shopify's approval page; nothing is charged before you approve there. Your 14-day free trial starts when you approve. Without an approved plan, sales are kept, not issued.

Changing plan. A change is one more approval in Shopify. A higher price starts at once (this period is prorated); a lower one starts with the next period. Until you approve, your current plan continues. If you choose again while an approval waits, the new choice replaces it: you never approve the old price.

Stores. When a store starts or stops selling at a till, the Stores page saves it and Shopify asks you to approve the new number of stores. Until then Shopify keeps billing the stores it billed.

Billing e-mail. Payment and plan e-mails go to the billing e-mail on the Plan page. You can change it there at any time, even while settings are read-only.

Stopping. To stop, uninstall zrsPOS: Shopify ends the plan.

Documents and packs

• What counts. Every certified document issued through zrsPOS: invoices, invoice-receipts, returns documents, exchange replacements and test documents. Reprints, downloads and e-mails do not count.
• Shared by your stores. The documents included are per store but shared: 3 stores on Plus = 2 400 documents every 30 days, wherever they are issued.
• Extra packs. When the included documents are used up, a pack is bought on its own and appears on your Shopify invoice as "zrsPOS · extra documents". Unused pack documents stay for 12 months; the included documents start again every period.
• Spending cap. When you approve the plan, Shopify also asks you to approve a spending cap for extra packs (2× your price every 30 days by default). If it is reached, documents keep being issued: packs wait and are charged once you raise the cap in Shopify (Settings → Billing).
• Trial. 14 days on every plan; in the trial, extra documents are free.

This period on the Plan page shows the documents used, the packs bought and the spending cap. Opening the page never buys a pack.

If a payment fails

1. The first 14 days: everything keeps working. The Plan page says when the payment failed and the day to fix it by; tap Fix the payment in Shopify. We e-mail you on day 0, 7 and 12.
2. After 14 days: settings turn read-only: settings can't be changed on any page, and every page says so with Open Plan. Sales are still issued, every one. Reprints, downloads, tests, previews and closing the till still work. Choosing a plan and changing the billing e-mail still work on the Plan page. Once Shopify collects the payment, everything can be changed again.

If the plan ends

New sales stop being issued 24 hours after the plan ends. They are not lost: zrsPOS keeps them without a document (nothing is sent to SAGE) and, once you approve a plan, you issue them from Documents with "Issue now" (one by one or all). While zrsPOS stays installed, the document archive, reprints and downloads stay available. If you uninstall zrsPOS, its configuration and working data are deleted 48 hours later; the certified documents stay in your own SAGE, which is your legal archive. See the privacy policy.

A plan zrsPOS suspended keeps new sales without a document until zrsPOS lifts the suspension: write to support@zrspos.com.

How billing works

• Shopify bills zrsPOS with your Shopify invoice, every 30 days, per store that sells at a till, ex-VAT.
• Every price change is one approval in Shopify; the Plan page shows the price before you approve.
• A plan zrsPOS sets for you (managed by zrsPOS) can't be switched on the Plan page: write to support@zrspos.com. A shop zrsPOS bills itself sees its plan and store changes apply at once, with nothing to approve in Shopify.
