Step 9 — Test document & go live

Readiness

The page lists every step with its status. Steps 3, 4, 6 and 7 are required; the others are optional.

Test document

The test document goes through exactly the path a customer sale takes, so what you see is what customers get. It is a real certified document in your SAGE, named TESTE-…; cancel it with a credit note afterwards if you wish.

  1. At the POS, make a sale of any product, paid however you like. It is not invoiced yet — you are not live.
  2. Choose the store and the payment method, press Issue test document.
  3. Check the document in SAGE. Test documents do not auto-print; use the printer's own Print test.

Go live

When you go live, every POS sale becomes a certified document in your SAGE, immediately and automatically, and prints at the till. Until you go live, POS sales are ignored by zrsPOS and are not recoverable later, so make sure all real selling starts after the switch.

You can pause issuing later from the same page. While paused, POS sales are not invoiced either. Pause only if you know why.
