SAGE payment method not on the till report

What you see

In the admin, on Payments, at the payment method's SAGE payment method field, and on the Home page. It names the payment method and its SAGE payment method. Code: ZP-NO-TILL-REPORT.

What happened

A SAGE payment method zrsPOS books on does not update the till report, so the till close will not add up.

What to do

Pick one of the two:

  • In SAGE, turn on "Update till report" for that SAGE payment method. This is a setting in SAGE and cannot be changed through the API: do it in SAGE yourself or ask your SAGE partner.
  • Or, in Payments, choose another SAGE payment method that does update the till report.

Without it the till close does not add up, because its sales never reach the till report.

Can zrsPOS do it for you?

No for the SAGE setting; yes for the choice, which you change on Payments.
