Sale held while your plan was inactive

What you see

In the admin, on Documents, under Held: the sales kept while your plan did not allow issuing, each with its order and when it was sold. Code: ZP-DOCS-HELD.

What happened

The sale arrived while your zrsPOS plan did not allow issuing (it had ended, a payment failed, or no plan was chosen yet). zrsPOS kept it: nothing was sent to SAGE and nothing was printed. A refund or an exchange of a held sale is held with it.

What to do

1. Make your plan active again on Settings › Plan. Until then, Issue the … held sales now is off and says why.
2. On Documents, open Held and press Issue the … held sales now. zrsPOS asks first, then issues each one the normal way: the sales first, then their refunds and exchanges, with each step shown and each outcome at the end. Nothing is printed.
3. A sale that still fails moves to Needs you, with its cause and its fix.

Do not issue held sales by hand in SAGE: zrsPOS would issue them a second time.

Can zrsPOS do it for you?

Yes, once the plan is active: one button issues every held sale. You can also issue one alone from its own page.
