An island custom-sale item is missing

What you see

In the admin, on SAGE items › Custom sales, the region of your store in Madeira or the Azores shows a rate marked "Needs attention" with the title An island custom-sale item is missing. The same card is on the Home page under "Needs attention".

What happened

An island store sells at its region's VAT rates (Madeira 22 %, 12 % and 5 %; the Azores 16 %, 9 % and 4 %), and one of them has no SAGE custom-sale item yet. A custom sale (a line typed at the till, with no product) at that rate gets no document until it has one.

What to do

  1. Open SAGE items › Custom sales.
  2. At the top, choose the region of your island store.
  3. Open the rate marked "Needs attention".
  4. In the SAGE item field, choose one of your items at that VAT rate, with no stock, and save. zrsPOS checks it in SAGE first: it must charge the island rate on a document (a VAT group whose mainland line has the island rate too; your SAGE partner sets it up).

Can zrsPOS do it for you?

Not this one. Island items come from your SAGE: you choose each one, and zrsPOS checks its VAT before saving it. An item that would charge another rate is refused, with the rate it has and the rate it needs.
