The item has the wrong VAT

What you see

In the admin, on SAGE items, as a row marked "Needs attention" with the title The item has the wrong VAT, and on the Home page under "Needs attention". It can also appear against a failed document in Documents.

What happened

The item’s VAT group is not the one zrsPOS expects for this store.

What to do

  1. Open SAGE items and find the item flagged with the wrong VAT.
  2. Press Set up 1 item in SAGE to make a replacement item with the right VAT group (zrsPOS shows what it will create and waits for your confirmation), or fix the item's VAT group in SAGE, or pick another existing item here.
  3. Save.

Can zrsPOS do it for you?

Yes, by replacement. In SAGE items, Set up 1 item in SAGE proposes a new item with the right VAT group, creates it after you confirm, and reads it back from SAGE to check. It does not change your existing item.
