Value-only refund on a Tax Free sale

What you see

On the POS, where the order shows: "The customer’s document is not issued yet (value-only refund on a Tax Free sale) — a manager fixes it in the admin." In the admin, in Documents, with this title. Code: ZP-TAXFREE-VALUE-REFUND.

What happened

A value-only refund (no items) on a Tax Free sale: zrsPOS cannot tell which part belongs to the exempt goods and which to the deposit.

What to do

1. Decide, with the customer, how much is for the exempt goods and how much is for the deposit.
2. Issue the credit note by hand in SAGE.
3. Void or correct the Tax Free form (in the zrsTaxFree app, or with Global Blue).
4. Archive this entry in Documents.

To avoid it next time, refund Tax Free sales by returning the items, not by a value-only refund.

Can zrsPOS do it for you?

No. zrsPOS cannot tell what part belongs to the goods and what to the deposit. This needs a person.
