The store’s VAT zone is not in SAGE

What you see

In the admin, on the store’s page in Stores, at its VAT zone, and in Home under "Needs attention". Code: ZP-ZONE-NOT-IN-SAGE.

What happened

The VAT zone chosen for this store is not one of your SAGE’s zones, so the store’s documents would carry a zone SAGE does not have. This happens when the zone was removed in SAGE, or after a change of SAGE company.

What to do

  1. Open the store in Stores.
  2. Under Where it is, pick a VAT zone from the list zrsPOS reads from your SAGE, or keep the company’s zone (a mainland store needs no zone of its own).
  3. Save the store.

Can zrsPOS do it for you?

No. zrsPOS suggests a zone from the store’s address (an island postcode), but never fills it in for you: you choose it and save.
